Client Brand Book

Please make sure to refer to the client’s brand book as your main guide. However, it’s important to thoroughly examine the entire brand profile, as requests may shift over time. Brand Voice

Audience

Hustle is a messaging platform designed to maximize engagement and build meaningful relationships between companies and their audience using streamlined text messaging, video, and AI. From what I can tell, it’s used for B2B and B2C communications for interfacing with partners, potential partners, and wide audiences.

Character

In their writing, Hustle is corporate, progressive, modern, serious, bold, and professional. They speak like your standard tech exec using modern buzzwords that will feel provocative to the kind of partner they’re looking to acquire. It’s a bit of a subversion as you would think a company called “Hustle” would lean more into the modern idea of “Hustle culture”, but they don’t. They keep it very straightforward.

Emotion

When you read their copy, Hustle wants you to feel productive, inspired, motivated, informed, capable, empowered, and connected. They want you to feel like your message can reach further than you can imagine, so their copy is leveraged in a way that makes you feel grand possibilities. They want you to feel their technical know-how and feel confident in their ability to boost your message.

Tone

In their copy, Hustle is honest, direct, data-driven, empowering, confident, helpful, and professional. Their tone is helpful and knowledgeable while being pretty straightforward. They don’t get very flowery with their language, and it isn’t terribly personable, but it gets the job done for a tech company with Salesforce integrations.

Language

Hustle writes from a team perspective (using “we” instead of “I”), they use US English, they use industry-specific phrases and jargon, and they use data to show their value. They do not use humor or cursing. They will use emojis and hashtags in their social media.
All headlines and CTA text as must be formatted in sentence case.

Purpose

The purpose of Hustle’s copy is to educate, connect, and sell.

Target Audience

Nonprofit, political, government, labor/unions, education, and commercial sectors.

Brand Differentiator

  • Their platform integrates all communication needs into a unified solution, eliminating the necessity for multiple vendors/platforms for various communication channels such as texting (broadcast and peer-to-peer) and calling through the dialer.
  • Their Client Success & Support teams are recognized for their excellence, consistently delivering dependable assistance, guidance, and best practices, an area where many competitors falter.
  • Setting a standard for platform performance and reliability, they excel. While some competitors grapple with consistent performance, their platform is engineered to handle high traffic and volume during critical moments.
  • They lead the market with their suite of video products, being the first to market and maintaining a significant competitive advantage.
